Finally as the weather warms, we are seeing the early harbingers of Spring. Frog spawn in ponds, queen bumblebees searching for early pollen in hellebores and Spring flowers. When the sun pokes through the clouds zingy lime yellow Brimstone butterflys soar above the yellow daffodils.
I wander'd lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host of golden daffodils,
Beside the lake, beneath the trees
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze
(From 'Daffodils' by William Wordsworth)
